The route connects with Machame at Shira 2 Camp, passes through Lava Tower, Barranco Wall, and Barafu Camp before the final summit push to Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
Note: The 7-day itinerary provides better acclimatization than the 6-day option, increasing your chances of reaching the summit.

Day 0: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Relax after your journey, meet your mountain guide for a detailed climbing briefing, equipment inspection, and prepare for your Kilimanjaro adventure.

Day 1: Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Mti Mkubwa Camp

Drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the beautiful rainforest, spotting colobus monkeys and various bird species as you make your way to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp for your first night on the mountain.
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp – Shira 1 Camp

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp – Shira 2 Camp

A short but scenic day exploring the Shira Plateau. Hike across the volcanic landscape with magnificent views of Mount Meru and the surrounding mountains before setting up camp at Shira 2.
Day 4: Shira 2 Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp

Follow the "climb high, sleep low" acclimatization strategy. Hike to the impressive Lava Tower at 4,630m before descending through the beautiful Senecio Forest to Barranco Camp. This crucial day greatly improves your altitude adaptation.
Day 5: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp
- Altitude: 3,960m – 4,200m
- Distance: 5 km
- Hiking Time: 4–5 Hours

Climb the famous Barranco Wall, a fun scramble that offers spectacular views of the surrounding valleys. Continue through ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp, with excellent views of the icefalls on the southern slopes of Kibo.
Day 6: Karanga Camp – Barafu Camp
- Altitude: 4,200m – 4,640m
- Distance: 4 km
- Hiking Time: 3–4 Hours

A short trek to Barafu Camp, the base for your summit attempt. Arrive early to rest, rehydrate, and have an early dinner. Your guide will brief you on the midnight summit push while you prepare for the ultimate challenge.
Day 7: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp
- Altitude: 4,640m – 5,895m – 3,100m
- Distance: 17 km
- Hiking Time: 11–14 Hours
- Habitat: Arctic → Rain Forest
- Accommodation: Mweka Camp
Around midnight, wake and begin your summit attempt. Trek under starlight to Stella Point (5,756m) before continuing to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Witness an unforgettable sunrise over the African plains.
After celebrating your achievement and taking photos, descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp. Enjoy your final night on the mountain.
Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Moshi
